Job summary

St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in St. Clair Shores, MI is seeking a part-time Technology Teacher for grades 3–8, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the 2026‑2027 school year.

  • Must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate (Elementary or Secondary Education).
  • Experience teaching Technology in grade schools and/or middle schools is strongly suggested.
  • Part‑Time position (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) for the 2026‑2027 school year.
  • Ability to develop age-appropriate technology lessons and promote digital citizenship.

  • Create a consistently high level of student engagement and learning.
  • Be capable of teaching a range of Technology programs and applications to students.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons in digital citizenship, keyboarding, productivity tools, coding, research skills, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support technology integration across the curriculum.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot basic classroom technology as needed.
  • Differentiate instruction within the classroom to meet the needs of all students.
  • Establish positive relationships with students.
  • Maintain a consistent disciplinary approach that promotes self-direction and confidence by setting high standards for student behavior and effectively managing inappropriate behavior.
  • Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Cooperate with the school administration to fulfill additional operational and professional responsibilities and duties as needed.
  • Promote safe, responsible, and ethical use of technology.

St. Joan of Arc Catholic School is seeking a faith‑filled, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Technology Teacher to join our team on a Part‑Time basis (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) for the 2026‑2027 school year. The instructor will provide engaging technology instruction to students in Grades 3–8, helping them develop digital literacy, responsible technology use, and foundational computer skills in a Catholic school environment.

All teachers shall be approved by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan and be required to hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate (Elementary or Secondary Education).
