Gresham Smith in Tampa, FL is seeking a Technology Systems Designer focused on building engineering. You will collaborate with owners, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to define technology, audiovisual, and security requirements and translate them into contract documents.

The role requires REVIT design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong communication. We offer a collaborative, people-first culture with growth opportunities and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred in a related field.
• At least 4 years of REVIT-based technology systems design experience.
• Certifications such as RCDD, CTS, PSP are desirable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and detailed design documentation.
• Strong MS Office skills; familiarity with PDF software.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with owners, clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to define technology, audiovisual, and security requirements and ensure seamless project coordination.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive contract documents—including drawings, diagrams, plans, and details—per design standards.
• Provide redlines, quality control reviews, and feedback on equipment lists and shop drawings.
• Research codes, standards, equipment and construction methods to inform design and scope development.
• Prepare narratives, ADS/ASIs, CCDs, and other construction submissions; participate in meetings and report progress.
