Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is hiring a Technology Solutions Design Engineer to join our Dallas-Plano or Houston, Texas offices onsite. You will contribute to the design of Security, Audio Visual, IT Infrastructure, and IT active equipment within high-performance building projects, collaborating with engineers and designers to produce detailed layouts and diagrams.

You will work in a team environment, applying your electrical or computer engineering background to design scalable technology systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required or preferred.
• Interest in Technology Systems and Electrical Engineering is essential.
• Internship or co-op in technology solutions design is desirable.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed layout and equipment details of Technology systems in buildings.
• Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Assist design team with drawing sets and field verification.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop project aspects.
• Manage priorities to meet deadlines.
