Job summary

PayPal, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Technology Strategy in San Jose to lead the development and execution of PayPal’s technology strategy. The role partners with senior executives to guide the technology function and supports the CTO with strategic decisions.

The position requires 4–6 years in strategy roles and a strong background in software development or payments. It offers a balanced hybrid work model with flexible on-site and remote days.

Qualifications

5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy preferred.
Experience in software development or fintech is a plus.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Develop PayPal’s technology strategy and coordinate initiatives end-to-end.
Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects and align stakeholders.
AI-Enabled Development: Prototype enterprise tools and apps with AI-assisted approaches.
Research & Analysis: Conduct qualitative & quantitative analyses to support deliverables.
Thought Leadership & Mentorship: Articulate PayPal’s strategic position and mentor junior team members.
