Job summary

Axiologic Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced advisor to work with senior client leaders on program strategy and to support IT governance and risk management initiatives. The role emphasizes cloud and security architecture, and cross-functional collaboration across divisions in a complex DoD/DIA environment.

The position requires a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly preferred, a Master’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

Strategic:

• Work with the most senior members of the client organization to ensure that overall program and project direction, strategy, and expectations are met.
• Possess an understanding of DIA's CIO mission and the impact of managerial practices.
• Support Senior Technical Advisors (STAs) in creating models and strategic roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on aspects of DIA's strategic objectives and goals as they relate to the CIO mission.
• Support the development of architecture assessments for senior leaders, including support to the Acquisition Center of Excellence's IT procurement lifecycle.
• Maintain and communicate enterprise standards and changes.
• Contribute to and help maintain the enterprise's IT Capability Inventory and License Register.
• Act as a high-level designer, defining the framework of core design features and functions of the program objective to be implemented.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of IT strategy and risk management activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Define comprehensive, new, or unique approaches that enable rigorous assessments and contribute to high-level, complex tasks.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of risk management and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries, and clearly articulate key findings to stakeholders.
• Work independently with minimal oversight, coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed.

Tactical:

• Perform data collection and interview senior staff.
• Facilitate discussions and analysis to inform the decision process.
• Offer expertise in the form of knowledge, specialty skills, experience, or creativity.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in one or more of the following specialties: cloud and systems architectures, security architecture, cloud applications and storage, high performance computing, and software development.
• Work closely with information technologists to identify the best technological solution to technical issues.
• Support intra- and cross-Division/Project governance needs.
• Facilitate quarterly Technical Exchange Meetings with Senior Technical Advisors, Program/Project Managers, and Mission Partners.
• Have a firm understanding of IC and DoD Risk Management Frameworks, continuous monitoring, risk scoring, and risk management experience, applying that understanding to program and system activities.
• Support the enterprise's IT governance model, advancing initiatives from strategic alignment (plans, investments, innovations) through integration (technical exchanges, investment discussions, program reviews) and cross-functional planning (feedback loops, enhanced collaboration, opportunities for innovation) to optimized resource allocation, prioritization of joint initiatives to reduce redundancy, and capacity planning.
• Contribute in recurring forums such as Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Exchange Meetings, and similar governance sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI (CI Poly Preferred).
• Master's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years (or equivalent substitution per the contract's Education Substitution Table; this experience requirement cannot be substituted).
• Demonstrated experience providing consultative support to senior client leadership on program strategy, direction, and expectations.
• Firm understanding of IC and DoD Risk Management Frameworks, continuous monitoring, and risk scoring methodologies.
• Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: cloud and systems architectures, security architecture, cloud applications and storage, high performance computing, or software development.
• Basic understanding of technology and architecture modeling concepts and tools.
• Skilled in planning and hosting meetings, and in facilitating and guiding technical discussions while capturing outcomes and action items.
• Familiarity with DIA and CIO strategy and IT governance frameworks (e.g., IT Governance/RMB).
• Basic knowledge of DIA IT components and mission portfolios.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies in IT environments.
• DoD and IC experience is desired.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and Visio.
• Have excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

Travel Requirements:

Travel will be required within the Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.

Level of Responsibility:

The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment, resolves most conflicts, coordinates work with others, and interprets policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment. Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Salary:

$135k - $155k

The salary range is provided in good faith and is based on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, Federal Government contract labor category requirements, contract wage determinations when applicable, clearance requirements, work location, relevant experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, internal equity, and approved funding.

For proposal-contingent positions, the listed range is an anticipated good-faith range based on current proposal assumptions. Final compensation may vary based on contract award, finalized customer requirements, approved funding, labor category alignment, and candidate qualifications.
