Job summary

Duke University is seeking a Sector Director, Technology in Fuqua's Career Management Center to lead sector engagement and career education for Daytime MBA students. You will shape resources, coach students, and foster employer partnerships for technology careers.

Reporting to the Assistant Dean, you’ll manage student programs, collaborate with clubs and the Employer Engagement team, and drive metrics, budgets, and strategic initiatives across the sector.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
• MBA corporate recruiting or career coaching experience preferred.
• Experience advising, coaching, mentoring, or supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Coach current students and alumni pursuing internships and full-time roles in the assigned sector.
• Develop sector-specific career resources and plan engagement events.
• Partner with student clubs, employer engagement, and career services groups to coordinate activities.
• Lead sector-agnostic programs and contribute to core career initiatives for Daytime MBAs.
• Assess employer needs and expand relationships to attract sector opportunities.
