Job summary

BDO USA in New Jersey seeks an experienced Assurance Manager, Technology Risk Assurance to lead a team of IS Assurance professionals in the review, documentation, evaluation and testing of IT processes and controls across diverse environments.

You will oversee IT general and application controls, provide audit reports, and mentor staff while coordinating with clients to strengthen controls and mitigate risks. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems required.
• Master’s in Information Systems or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents and tests IT general and application controls.
• Prepares audit reports and recommendations.
• Identifies opportunities to use CAATs and implements them.
• Participates in internal controls review under Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Communicates findings to client areas to improve processes and controls.
• Develops client relationships and conducts interviews to obtain information.
