Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas seeks a Technical Project Leader to plan and direct major technical component installations across multiple functional areas. The role provides leadership to the project team, including scheduling, assignment and review of work, and ensures quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The position involves hands-on execution of complex project tasks, overseeing operations from inception to post-execution, and managing budgets while multitasking under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• 6 years IT work experience, or 10 years IT work experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the installation of major technical components across multiple functional areas.
• Provides formalized, continuing work direction to the assigned team including scheduling, assignment and review of project work.
• Oversees project appropriateness, applicability and quality; involved in execution of complex project aspects.
• Manages all project operations from inception to post-execution and maintains project budgets; multitasks under pressure.

Job description

Plans and directs the installation of major technical components, which typically impacts more than one functional/user area. Provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team including the scheduling, assignment and review of project work. The Technical Project Leader is responsible for the appropriateness, applicability and quality of each aspect of the project and team development. In addition to project leadership, this position is actively involved in the actual execution of the more complex aspects of project. This highly organized, detail-oriented leader will oversee all project operations from inception to post-execution, maintains project budgets and is able to multitask successfully under pressure.

Other information:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering, computer science or a related field). 6 years of Information Technology work experience, or 10 years of Information Technology work experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent leadership abilities. Attention to detail. Excellent computer literacy skills. Ability to problem-solve under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
