Job summary

San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) seeks a Technology Product Director to lead strategic technology products, projects, and services across the district. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, align priorities with district goals, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, stakeholder communication, and the translation of needs into sustainable technology solutions for schools and departments across SFUSD.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in digital product management or IT project management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large technology programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead major technology products, systems, services, programs, and projects from strategy through delivery.
• Design collaboration structures to support project delivery and ongoing value.
• Coordinate with departments to identify needs and implement solutions.
• Manage budgets and resources to achieve timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Oversee communication with stakeholders on status, risks, and deliverables.
• Lead training and change-management initiatives for technology implementations.
• Develop reports to evaluate system performance and end-user experience.
