Nationwide's Technology team is seeking a Consultant, Technology Product Analyst to translate needs into actionable insights and recommendations. This role partners with business leaders, Product Managers, UX, Technology, and Architecture to assess performance and shape decisions.

You will develop multi-year roadmaps, connect strategy to capabilities, and guide initiatives from concept to delivery, while not owning the roadmap or backlog.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years delivering technology-enabled business solutions.
• Experience in insurance/financial services or as a management consultant.
• Experience shaping roadmaps and business cases with IT delivery.
• Experience with data solutions or data products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technology consulting partner to business and product leaders.
• Lead discovery sessions to define goals and success metrics.
• Frame ambiguous problems and align stakeholders on opportunity and decisions.
• Guide initiatives from concept to scoped work with clear outcomes and dependencies.
• Translate complex tech topics into clear business implications and options.
• Partner with Architects to evaluate trade-offs and connect needs to tech capabilities.
• Help shape data solutions by connecting questions to data products and analytics.
• Develop and maintain multi-year roadmaps with partners and stakeholders.
• Translate strategic goals into sequenced capabilities and milestones.
• Help leaders understand priorities and funding implications.
• Move well-shaped work into executable plans while preserving outcomes.
• Clarify ownership, dependencies, risks, and communicate progress.
• Contribute to consistent consulting practices and reusable artifacts.
