Job description

Technology Procurement & Privacy Counsel (contract-to-hire)

Location: Remote (US or Canada based)

Type: Contract with potential to convert to FTE

Daily Rate: $675-720/daily (depending on experience)

Our client, a real estate management and technology company, is currently seeking a contract attorney with a background in technology procurement transactions and data privacy. Ideally, candidates should have at least 5 years' experience with buy-side technology transactions, as well as experience with data privacy, including helping a company build out its data privacy initiatives and policies. This is a full-time REMOTE contract position, with potential to convert into a full-time position with the company in the future.

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic background.
• At least 3-4 years' experience practicing at a top law firm.
• 1+ years' previous in-house experience.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating a variety of buy and sell-side commercial contracts, including a variety of tech procurement transactions.
• Data privacy experience, with a CIPP/US or CIPP/Canada certification a plus.
• Strong experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent writing skills and keen attention to detail.
