This position is for the regional head of Ops Analytics Strat in NY. The candidate would focus on team management, technical oversight, and driving the regional strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the local vision and day‑to‑day management of the team in NY
• Oversee and mentor the team in its application of statistics, econometrics, and machine learning for forecasting, prediction, and pattern recognition to support data‑driven decision making
• Guide the use of data and analytics to answer business questions and make recommendations, including design of its visualization delivery
• Drive and review the development of software to aid and streamline the application of analytics
• Collaborate with end users, senior management, and business partners to align analytics initiatives with business objectives

Qualifications

• 7+ years total experience
• Experience managing a team of at least five people
• 4+ years programming experience in a general‑purpose language (Java, C, Python, Scala)
• Experience in probability, statistics, and regression analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical area (Math, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering)
