Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking an Technology Operations Analyst I for overnight coverage to monitor and maintain the Bank’s systems, servers, and applications. The role includes data processing, analysis, and reporting tasks as assigned.

The incumbent will respond to incidents, outages, and performance alerts, prioritizing based on business impact and policy. This position supports a broad stack including Windows, networking, and virtualized environments.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in application, server, or network support role required.
  • Banking or financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in a technology field preferred.
  • Related IT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely response to incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
  • Approve and prioritize incidents per business requirements and policies.
  • Monitor servers, storage, backups, OS, and core applications.
  • Document actions per policy and procedures.
  • Notify customers and third-party providers of issues and status.

The Technology Operations Analyst I - is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Bank’s systems, servers, and applications. This position also assists with data processing, analysis, and reporting as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely response to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams.
  • Recognize, identify, and prioritize incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies, and operational impact.
  • Monitor a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but not limited to servers, storage, backup, operating systems, and core applications.
  • Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures
  • Notify customers and third-party service providers of issues, outages, and remediation status.
Competencies Required
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with broad knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, networking, server administration, basic scripting and programming (SQL), FTP and VMWare.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and concern for data accuracy.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload and multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional shifts such as evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in application, server, or network support role required.
  • Banking or financial services industry experience preferred.
Formal Education & Certification
  • Associate degree in a technology field preferred.
  • Related IT certifications preferred.
Work Status

Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility

None.

Travel

10% travel expected.

Working Conditions

Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
