Job summary

Stanford University is seeking a Licensing Transactions Manager to independently draft, negotiate, and administer complex technology license and related agreements. You will translate approved business terms into clear, enforceable contract language, negotiate the legal and commercial provisions, manage transactions through execution, and handle amendments and post-execution matters.

This is a 100% FTE, hybrid position with an expectation to be in the office twice a week, and requires background

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review and analyze complex information and develop creative, workable solutions that balance licensee, faculty, and institutional interests.
• Working knowledge of federal funding and Bayh-Dole obligations, export controls, privacy and data security, conflicts of interest, and other compliance considerations relevant to licensing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and administer complex technology license and related agreements.
• Coordinate with Licensing Managers and office leadership to translate terms into enforceable language and manage post-execution matters.
• Ensure adherence to institutional policies and risk frameworks; support templates and training.
