Job summary

Veriipro seeks an experienced DevOps/Kubernetes engineer to lead administration, deployment, and support of container platforms across enterprise environments. You will manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/OpenShift), implement Istio/Solo Gloo Mesh, and drive CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Harness.

Automation via Groovy and Shell, plus Terraform and Ansible, will be core to daily work. You will configure NGINX and networking, collaborate with DevOps, Infra, and Security teams, and support AWS/Azure

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology infrastructure, DevOps, cloud, or container platforms.
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration required.
• Extensive experience with Amazon EKS and/or OpenShift.
• Proven ability to deploy and manage containerized apps at scale.
• Experience with Istio Service Mesh.
• Familiarity with Solo Gloo Mesh / Ambient Mesh is a plus.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or Harness.
• Scripting in Groovy and Shell; Terraform and Ansible knowledge.
• NGINX and container networking experience.
• AWS services including Route 53, EFS, EC2; Azure knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and cross-team collaboration.
• Able to work across development, infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, configuration, deployment, and support of Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes environments including Amazon EKS and OpenShift.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications across enterprise environments.
• Implement and support service mesh technologies such as Istio and Solo Gloo Mesh, including Ambient Mesh.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Harness.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Groovy, Shell, and other scripting technologies.
• Manage Kubernetes application deployments using Helm.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Configure and manage NGINX and related application/networking components.
• Work with AWS cloud services including Route 53 (R53), EFS, and EC2.
• Support container platform integrations with AWS and Azure environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes clusters, container workloads, networking, and deployments.

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to improve container platform operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology infrastructure, DevOps, cloud, or container platform environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration is required.
• Strong experience with Amazon EKS and/or OpenShift.
• Experience with container deployment and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Istio Service Mesh.
• Experience with Solo Gloo Mesh / Ambient Mesh is highly desirable.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins or Harness.
• Experience with Groovy, Shell scripting, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with NGINX and container networking.
• Working knowledge of AWS services, including Route 53, EFS, and EC2.
• Experience working with Azure cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across development, infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering teams.
