Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to guide architecture decisions and lead the design and delivery of systems for Citi's Collections & Recovery function.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with business and technology teams, and shape data and automation strategies to improve recovery outcomes. This full-time role supports hybrid work with some in-office days.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in applications development or systems analysis.
• Hands-on experience designing and building applications using Java, Angular, and SQL Server.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines for data processing.
• Track record of managing and delivering technology projects from design through implementation.
• Recognized subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.

Responsibilities

• Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities for the Collections & Recovery technology team.
• Partner with management teams across business and technology to integrate systems and deliver new products and process improvements.
• Design application solutions using Java, Angular, SQL Server, and ETL that align with the broader architecture blueprint.
• Resolve complex, high-impact technical and business problems by evaluating system processes and industry standards.
• Set coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards to maintain consistent system quality.
• Translate business and infrastructure needs into scalable technical solutions that support Collections & Recovery goals.
• Coach and guide mid-level developers and analysts, allocating project work across the team.
• Identify risks in technical and business decisions and elevate control issues to protect Citi and its clients.
