Job summary

A leading IT services company based in Cupertino is seeking a TECHNOLOGY Lead with over 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience leading enterprise solutions and excellent communication skills. You will oversee end-to-end project delivery and ensure smooth transitions for clients. A Bachelor's degree is required for this role, which operates onsite with a potential project duration of 6 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of J2EE applications including deployment.
• Participate in client discussions and execute knowledge transfer sessions.
• Ensure a smooth transition from the customer on the existing application.
• Design and build activity for major and minor requests meeting requirements and conforming to architecture.
• Maintain good communication and experience in onsite-offshore models.

Skills

• 10+ years of hands on experience in Java/J2EE development
• 3-5 years of experience in a lead role
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with folks with varied experience
• Lead and delivered at least 2 end-to-end enterprise JAVA/J2EE solutions in Spring and Hibernate
• Ability to lead solutions by mapping customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions
• Exceptional demonstrated consulting skills
• Effective in fostering executive level relationships
• Resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both expectation and crisis management
• Strong experience on JAVA/J2EE Integration technologies/Frameworks is mandatory. Open Source Frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate is required
• Hands-on experience in at least one development tool
• Experience should clearly demonstrate Industry patterns adopted, applied articulating the trade-offs and compromises adopted toward meeting the non-functionals
• Providing detailed reliable solutions and developing statements of work and estimates for service implementations
• Able to do design and coding in Spring and Hibernate
• Strong practical experience of performance engineering at all layers is required with experience in techniques such as profiling (manual & automated) is essential

• Need to ensure a smooth transition from the customer end on the existing application.
• Able to do design and build activity for major and minor requests which meet the functional and non-functional requirements and is in conformance to the architecture.
• Have good communication skills and have experience earlier working in onsite-offshore model.
• Work as a lead and be the end to end contact with customer on all project level details and own bottom line responsibility of overall Project delivery.
