Bain & Company’s Technology Insights Group seeks an Expert Consultant to lead technology due diligence and value creation engagements for PE clients. You will collaborate with global tech leadership and regional PE teams to shape software investments, with frequent exposure to CEOs and senior executives.

Based in New York City or Boston, you’ll travel as needed, contribute to research, synthesize insights, and mentor junior colleagues while advancing the TIG practice in a fast-growing,

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 days per week in person at Bain or client site.
• Travel is required; travel frequency varies by project.
• 3+ years in software/tech position; due diligence experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead technology due diligence and value creation assignments for PE investors targeting software businesses.
• Contribute across the client engagement from scope to final report presentation.
• Drive primary and secondary research; analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Conduct hypothesis-led problem solving and communicate strategic recommendations.
• Develop and communicate insights to project team, investors, and technology leaders.
• Invest in initiatives that help scale the practice (ops/systems).
