Bonneville Power Administration seeks a seasoned program specialist to manage complex partnerships with national labs, universities, and energy innovators. The role shapes agreements and assesses advancements for integration into BPA’s power grid.

The position requires evaluating technologies from business and technical angles, supporting technology transfer, and guiding multi-year RD&D efforts with rigorous project management and ROI analysis.

Formación

• Specialized experience requirements: one year of relevant experience at the next lower grade level is needed, in federal terms.
• GS-09: experience includes basic project coordination (schedules, docs, milestones) and gathering operational data for reporting.
• GS-11: experience includes project management planning, milestones tracking and vendor performance analysis.
• GS-12: experience includes end-to-end project management, risk mitigation, QA, and coordinating cross-functional programs.

Responsabilidades

• Support partnerships with national laboratories and universities to structure high-value agreements.
• Evaluate emerging energy technologies from business and technical perspectives to guide investments.
• Contribute to technology transfer and scaling initiatives to realize ROI and reduce operating costs.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to prepare executive briefings and inform funding roadmaps.
• Drive RD&D programs with plans, budgets, risks, and deliverables across multi-year efforts.
• Develop metrics and evaluative models to measure ROI and portfolio performance.
