Position Overview
Technical Excellence

The Technology and Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting simulators and systems to ensure a seamless guest experience. This role oversees the facilities team to maintain a high-functioning venue environment, managing technology challenges, vendor partnerships, and facility operations. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Director of Technology, this role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all venue technology and infrastructure.

Maximizing System Reliability & Venue Functionality

In addition to technical oversight, the manager maintains the venue's overall functionality by supporting facility operations, including lighting, general maintenance, and other systems. The role requires proactive problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. By combining technical expertise with facility management, the manager contributes to the venue's success and high-quality guest experience.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Technical Maintenance: Ensure simulators and systems operate efficiently through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with engineers.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with technology partners to maintain system performance.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of infrastructure, including lighting, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide stakeholders with detailed updates and reports.
  • Team Member Training: Conduct training to equip team members with necessary technical and facility knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, equipment usage, and ordering of supplies.
  • Audits: Perform routine audits to ensure system integrity and reliability.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain schedules for the team, ensuring adequate coverage.
Skills Required
  • Minimum three years of experience in technology management within guest-facing environments.
  • Operational management skills in high-pressure, live settings.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.

Basic Physical Requirements

Team members must perform duties in the venue, including sitting, talking via video conferencing, hearing, manipulating objects, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in varying environments, standing, walking, and frequent hand washing. Ability to communicate effectively and use handheld and desktop devices is essential.
