Job summary

Freehold Regional High School District is seeking a Teacher of Technology (Automotive Program) to deliver high school automotive technology instruction. The position requires a BA/Step 1 salary and a valid New Jersey instructional credential (certificate or SOE) with the appropriate teaching endorsement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or SOE with the appropriate teaching endorsement (Teacher of Technology).

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Professional automotive diagnosing and repair experience highly preferred.
• ASE Certification(s) highly preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities;
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
• Professional automotive diagnosing and repair experience highly preferred;
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s) highly preferred; and
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent in consultation with the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary- BA/Step 1 - $72,515
