Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a specific subject area is preferred.

• Utilizes assessment strategies aligned with WCPSS curriculum to support learner development.
• Communicates effectively with students, parents, staff and the community.
• Engages in ongoing professional quality improvement for self, school, and district.
• Implements instructional strategies reflecting students' cultures, learning styles and needs.
• Creates a positive classroom environment and maintains student engagement.
• Plan, align, implement, and evaluate instruction across learning environments.
• Collaborates with peers and stakeholders to improve classroom experiences.
• Integrates technology in teaching and learning processes.
• Adheres to safety procedures and maintains order and discipline.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
