About the job: Technology / Domain Specialists

Contract position

This role requires a B-Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with over 10 years of experience in senior roles designing and developing large-scale web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Node.js tools, backend technologies including Node, Python, and Go, and testing frameworks such as Cypress and Jest. Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like Bitbucket Pipelines and Spinnaker, as well as SonarCloud and Cloudflare, is essential.

Additional requirements include experience with Monorepos using Nx, Datadog, AWS services, Terraform, and hands-on experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Heroku. Strong understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes), REST API development, and polyglot development in frameworks like .Net Core, Java/Springboot, Python, JS/NodeJS, Nest.JS, Nuxt.JS is needed. Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka and RabbitMQ, monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and DataDog, and a solid grasp of architecture disciplines are also required.

The candidate should have experience working in agile environments, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable leading frontend teams in large projects. This is a hands-on role requiring daily code contributions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of large-scale backend applications, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and availability.
• Participate in all development phases, including design, planning, deployment, and process improvements for continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, including Backend Engineers, Product Management, Infrastructure/DevOps, and Security teams, to drive the product roadmap.
