Job Summary

The Technology Delivery Enablement Manager will sit within a centralized technology enablement team and play a key role in strengthening the people, processes, and frameworks that support successful technology project execution. This role will help enable the Business Technology Delivery teams, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Software Developers, by building capabilities, improving delivery practices, and creating the structure needed for teams to execute consistently and effectively.

This position requires a strong balance of talent enablement, strategic partnership, and hands‑on execution. The successful candidate will be comfortable developing training resources, supporting onboarding and capability‑building efforts, defining processes, building executive‑ready presentations, and supporting work tied to the evolving technology portfolio framework. This may include governance routines, delivery performance insights, funding models, organizational design considerations, and other special projects that require structure, judgment, and clear communication.

The Technology Delivery Enablement Manager will work closely with technology leaders and cross‑functional partners to identify enablement needs, translate complex information into clear insights, and prepare materials that help senior business technology executives understand project updates, business impacts, and recommendations. This is a highly visible role for someone who can operate confidently in ambiguity, influence cross functionally, ask thoughtful questions, and create clarity where the path forward is still being shaped.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Development & Training

    • Design and maintain structured onboarding and training programs for technology delivery support roles (e.g. project managers, business analysts, scrum masters), including progress tracking and competency validation.

    • Maintain and enhance training resources for project delivery roles in partnership with the enterprise training team.

    • Support ongoing training, certification, and capability standards across delivery roles.

    • Help define and monitor career pathways for project delivery leaders, supporting long‑term professional growth.

    • Promote consistent practices in staffing, development, and career growth across delivery teams.

  • Delivery Oversight & Enablement

    • Oversee and refine project management and agile delivery competencies to support coordination, scalable execution.

    • Support a consistent pipeline of qualified project managers and delivery talent to meet enterprise needs.

    • Partner with technology leaders to assess staffing needs for critical projects and initiatives.

    • Help ensure appropriate staffing and delivery support are in place to enable successful project execution and outcomes.

    • Develop feedback loops across project teams to identify themes, improvement opportunities, and areas for innovation.

  • Process Optimization

    • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to define, document, and continuously improve project delivery frameworks, portfolio governance practices, agile routines, and operating processes as the organization evolves.

    • Evaluate and implement tools, dashboards, and platforms that improve visibility into delivery performance, resource planning, governance, and execution.

    • Support change management efforts related to delivery frameworks, portfolio governance, and organizational transformation.

    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, metrics, and reporting routines to measure delivery effectiveness, team performance, training impact, and portfolio trends.

  • Contractor Management & Data Analysis

    • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for contractors supporting project delivery.

    • Analyze data to inform staffing decisions, delivery trends, portfolio insights, and operational improvements.

  • Portfolio Management

    • Support oversight of the technology project portfolio, including monthly portfolio governance reviews and financial reviews.

    • Create executive‑ready presentations and briefing materials that synthesize complex or incomplete information into clear insights, recommendations, and decision points.

    • Partner with technology leaders to prepare and deliver portfolio updates, project impacts, and recommendations to business technology executives with clarity and confidence.

  • General & Compliance

    • Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities.

    • Comply with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including acting professionally, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and prioritizing the best interests of Key's clients and the organization.
