Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering technology programs within Retail Banking or Credit Cards.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Crimes and Fraud domain.
  • Working knowledge of financial products and competitive landscape.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

As a Technology Delivery Director at Citi, you will lead portfolio delivery across a set of technology programs, partnering directly with business stakeholders to translate priorities into results. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, overseeing teams that design, build, and deliver critical systems supporting Retail Banking and Credit Cards operations. You will shape how delivery teams operate, drive accountability across your organization, and bring technical depth and business insight to every decision.

Responsibilities
  • Lead portfolio delivery across multiple technology programs, managing the book of work from planning through execution.
  • Manage and develop multiple teams, including hiring, performance evaluations, and career development.
  • Define team structure and role clarity to maximize impact and efficient use of resources.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to align technology delivery with organizational priorities.
  • Guide the design and development of system architecture in collaboration with end users to improve deliverable quality.
  • Present regular project and portfolio updates to senior management and business leaders.
  • Oversee budgeting, planning, and policy decisions that shape the strategic direction of the technology area.
  • Manage disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational readiness for new applications.
  • Apply sound judgment when assessing risk, safeguarding Citi's reputation, clients, and assets by maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 15 or more years of relevant technology delivery experience.
  • 8 to 10 or more years of experience managing teams and leading people.
  • Background delivering technology programs within Retail Banking or Credit Cards operations.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Crimes and Fraud domain.
  • Working knowledge of financial products and the competitive landscape within the industry.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
