Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 to join our DX team in the United States. You will collaborate with stakeholders, design discussions, code development, testing, and production support to ensure reliable software delivery.

The role emphasizes SDLC involvement across domains, an agile mindset, proactive issue resolution, and continuous learning. Eligible candidates should have strong Java/Spring Boot, AWS, and full-stack experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Progressive experience in the specialty may substitute education.
• Relocation/travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve software performance.
• Support integration of new features and transitions within the system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and document maintenance procedures.

Job Role: Technology Consultant 1

Area Of Responsibility:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team’s knowledge repository

Required Skills:

• Experience in Java Backend with proficiency in Java, spring boot and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python, Gitlab, Terraform.
• Experience in software development using Java, Spring Boot, Micro services, Angular and Rest API’s
• Experience in Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker
• Experience in Amazon core services
• Experience in Full-stack software engineering with proficiency in Java and Angular.
• Experience building and scaling applications on AWS.
• Experience in Java Full Stack development

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and test automation frameworks.
• Experience building and scaling applications on AWS.
• Experience in SQL database.
• Experience in Kafka or MQ, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, Junit, test framework, various design patterns.
• Experience in SQL Server or Oracle or Mongo DB is desired.
• Proficiency in Python, Gitlab, Terraform.
• Experience in Rest Webservices and UI
• Experience in AWS Core services

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
