Job summary

Salas O'Brien, Inc. in Boulder, CO is seeking a mid-level ICT/Technology Consultant to join our team. You will oversee design of Telecommunications, Safety and Security systems, and collaborate with clients on diverse construction projects, from data centers to education facilities.

You will work under Project Executives and Senior Consultants, translate client requirements into technical designs, develop drawings, and contribute creative, feasible solutions across all design phases.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems and how they support facility networks.
• Experience with Wi‑Fi, DAS, ERRCS and security systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with audiovisual systems and smart building technologies.
• Ability to translate client requirements into technical designs.
• Experience in design development through construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities:

Salas O’Brien is looking for a mid-level ICT/Technology Consultant to join our Team.

The Technology Consultant will leverage their experience working in the Architectural and Engineering community to oversee the design of Telecommunications and Electronic Safety and Security systems. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with other Senior staff and Engineers as well as consult directly with clients on a variety of project types within the construction industry. Projects will include new building construction and existing building renovations of data centers, sporting facilities, commercial, retail, multi-dwelling residential, hotel, education, and hospital properties. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of audiovisual systems.

Successful candidates should have a strong knowledge of the structured cabling systems and how they support facility networks, Wi-Fi, DAS, ERRCS, Security Systems, Audiovisual Systems, and Smart Buildings.

In this role you will:

Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location. The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000USD per year depending on experience. This role is also eligible forperformance-based bonuses and a comprehensiveU.S. basedbenefits package, including:
