Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an Audit Manager in the technology sector to deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services to middle-market clients. You will work with firm leadership to serve clients, mentor staff, and help grow the business while developing their technical and professional skills.

You will be a trusted advisor, oversee engagement teams, and participate in firm-wide development programs while maintaining high ethical standards and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required; master's or advanced degree desired.
• CPA required.
• Five (5) years of auditing experience in a professional services firm desired.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience desired.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing audit and assurance services.
• Engage with clients to understand business goals and challenges.
• Test internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Manage fieldwork to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations.
• Review, analyze, and discuss findings to deliver insights.
• Support engagement staffing, billing, and profitability targets.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to firm growth.
