Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate in Technology Audit in Dallas to provide independent assurance of the firm’s technology controls, systems, and infrastructure. You will engage with senior technology stakeholders to understand risk drivers and control state, and you will define audit scope and design testing steps to validate control effectiveness.

You will analyze data, perform data mining, and apply SDLC, vulnerability management, and data protection concepts.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 1 year of experience with a Master’s degree or 3 years with a Bachelor’s degree in information systems, networks, architecture, security, SDLC, data protection; risk governance and metrics.
• Experience with software development, cybersecurity, cloud, and DevOps; linking technology risks to business risks.
• Proficiency with programming languages (Java, C++) and scripting (Python); experience with SQL and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on audit plans for technology infrastructure and systems.
• Engage with senior technology stakeholders to understand risk drivers and control state.
• Design and execute tests to validate application system controls; perform data analysis and re-performance as needed.
• Collaborate with developers, system architects, engineers, and security practitioners to audit applications and systems.
