Job summary

Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is launching a two-year, multi-rotation technology associate program designed to develop top talent across UX, engineering, security, data and product disciplines. You will rotate through four six-month assignments and contribute to real projects while building broad skill sets.

You will begin June 7, 2027, with multiple spots available, and an opportunity to secure a permanent role in Wellmark Technology aligned with your interests and the organization’s needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical degree program (e.g.Computer Science, MIS, etc.)
• 2026 graduates or anticipated May 2027 graduates
• Relevant internship experience or leadership/mentorship experience or experience driving solutions to support Wellmark business initiatives (e.g., testing, business analysis, development, cloud service support)
• Self-Starter who takes a proactive approach to learning and continual development
• Effective planning and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
• Ability to come up with creative solutions to address problems
• Preferred: GPA 3.0 or higher

Responsibilities

• The associate program is a two-year rotation through Wellmark’s technology division
• Rotations include API/Services Engineering, Application Production Support, Analytics, UX, Cloud, Data Engineering, AI, Front End, Cyber Security, Full Stack Development, Quality Engineering & Testing, Product Development
• Contribute to projects and deliverables across multiple technology domains
• Collaborate with rotation leaders to tailor experiences to skill set and career goals
