Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Phoenix, AZ. This is an 18+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering

Requirements :

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Able to identify and self-manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
• Experience with DAST / SAST / SCA (Blackduck) scanning
• Experience in security consulting on complex issues related to data access, integrity, confidentiality and business continuity
• Technical experience working with development teams on defect remediation
• Application security experience with banking / financial services applications
• Hands-on experience with application security coding
• Knowledge or experience with bug bars
• Knowledge and understanding of threat analysis and assessment of potential and current information security risk / threats
