Responsibilities

As an Analyst, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities including light coding, data analysis and management, developing partnership and relationships, gathering and translating requirements, coordinating with technical teams, communicating progress updates, managing stakeholder expectations, overseeing financial tracking, evaluating and prioritizing backlog refinement, facilitating problem‑solving, and driving process improvements. Basic Qualifications

Currently enrolled in and attending school, pursuing a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Technology, Information Technology, Security or another relevant computer and technical program with expected graduation by August 2027. Completion of the 2026 Lilly technology summer internship or spring fellowship.

Additional Skills & Preferences

Prior experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, automation tools, or AI‑assisted research/analytics tools) in an academic, project, or work setting. Solid skills in technical problem analysis and solving. Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills. Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom. Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills. Passion for working on a global, inclusive team. Familiarity with gathering and writing requirements. Knowledge of design, development, and operational methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, ITIL). Exhibit advanced proficiency in both functional and technical domains, applying in‑depth knowledge of enterprise systems, software development lifecycles, and IT infrastructure relevant to the position. Leverage data‑driven methodologies and industry best practices to inform architectural and operational decisions, ensuring optimized project outcomes and team effectiveness. Utilize systematic root cause analysis and troubleshooting frameworks to diagnose and resolve sophisticated technical challenges with accuracy and efficiency. Continuously assimilate and operationalize emerging technologies, programming languages, and digital tools to enhance solution delivery and maintain technical excellence. Maintain a forward‑looking perspective by proactively monitoring external technology trends, best practices, and industry innovations—incorporating these insights to keep solutions current, relevant, and impactful within the organization. Demonstrate proactive financial stewardship by tracking project expenses, forecasting budget needs, and implementing cost controls to ensure optimal allocation of resources and alignment with organizational goals.

Compensation and Benefits

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $82,000 (Bachelors) - $100,000 (Masters) Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
