Job summary

WK Medical Center in Shreveport, LA seeks a Radiology Ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound studies. The candidate should be ARDMS registered and competent in vascular, abdominal and obstetric imaging, with the ability to perform invasive ultrasound procedures as needed.

The role requires a minimum of ten exams per day, with a schedule that includes day shifts, as well as evenings, weekends and on-call responsibilities across WK facilities.

Qualifications

• Must meet ARDMS registry requirements.
• Vascular registry preferred.
• Capable of performing 10+ exams per day.
• Willing to work day/evenings/weekends/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform a minimum of ten examinations daily.
• Conduct vascular, abdominal and obstetric studies.
• Assist with invasive ultrasound procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with Radiology team and adhere to protocols.

The candidate we are seeking for this position will perform a minimum of ten examinations a day. They will need to be competent with Vascular, Abdominal, Obstetric, as well as a multitude of invasive procedures. Our Radiology department comprises state-of-the-art equipment such as Philips Epiq 7 & Sectra PACS. Our Radiology team consists ofexperienced ARDMS registered Ultrasonographers. Orientation is individually structured for each candidate based on your experience, confidence and competence. This candidate must be willing to work within any of our WK facilities based on departmental need at the time of hire. The candidate will typically work the day shift, with evenings, weekend/holidays and on-call. The candidate chosen for this position will need to meet the basic ARDMS registry requirement with special consideration given to the vascular registry.
