Job summary

Willis-Knighton Radiology is seeking a full-time CT technologist for our Radiology Department. This float position rotates through all Willis-Knighton locations, performing CT scans with Philips and Siemens equipment while maintaining safety standards and proper documentation.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified in radiography, holds a valid LSRTBE license, and will complete CT-ARRT advanced registration within one year. Excellent judgment and patient communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered X-ray Technologist with ARRT certification.
• LSRTBE Radiologic Technology license.
• Advanced CT registration with ARRT within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate Philips and Siemens CT equipment.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines.

The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: operating Philips and SiemensCT equipment,following radiation safety guidelines, communicating effectively with patients and caregivers, assisting radiologists in invasive procedures with proper documentation. Educationally, the applicant must be a RegisteredX-ray Technologistwith ARRT and hold a license in Radiologic Technology bythe LSRTBE. In addition, advanced registration in CT by ARRT is required within one year of employment. Educational and other study material is provided by Willis-Knighton.
