Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in accordance with radiology practice standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves following hospital protocols, documenting results, and maintaining a safe, organized imaging suite.

Applicants must hold ARRT registry in Radiography (or be a new graduate awaiting registry), possess a state license if required, and obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Registered by ARRT with current Registry in Radiography or new graduate awaiting registry.
• Must also possess State License if required by state.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of radiologic principles/theory and uses the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Participates in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure care meets standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
