Job Title: Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with established imaging standards and clinical protocols. Under general supervision, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, position patients effectively, and capture high-quality radiographic images to support accurate physician evaluations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Communication: Guide patients through procedures with clear, compassionate instructions to ensure physical comfort, safety, and cooperation during imaging exams.
• Diagnostic Imaging: Operate and maintain diagnostic X-ray equipment to execute physician-ordered imaging exams accurately and safely.
• Patient Positioning & Quality Control: Position patients precisely using appropriate techniques to capture clear, technically competent diagnostic images while applying radiation safety principles (ALARA).
• Results Reporting & Operations: Coordinate with on-duty physicians to communicate exam completions/results and ensure proper documentation within clinical systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Clinical Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on X-ray / Diagnostic Radiography experience [Required].

• Certifications & Credentials:

  • Active ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) [Required].
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
• Core Competencies: Proficiency in operating digital/computed radiography equipment, strong patient positioning skills, knowledge of radiation safety standards, and clear interpersonal communication.
