Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Meridian, MS, is seeking a Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures in accordance with practice standards and to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification (or new graduate awaiting registry), BLS within 30 days, and state licensure as required. You will maintain equipment, follow protocols, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principals/theory and utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participates in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

Proof of registry (by primary source) must be available within 60 calendar days of graduation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
