Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles/theory and uses appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plan following hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation to comply with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Participates in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure standard-of-care.
• Completes assigned goals.

Experience

Minimum Required:

• 6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all MRI competencies at the end of orientation period.

Education

Minimum Required:

• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT ( R) required or Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT(MR) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
