Baptist Memorial Health Care's mobile mammography unit seeks a radiologic technologist to perform mammography procedures while upholding radiology practice standards. The role supports patient education and outreach in the community across mobile, clinic, and hospital settings.
Qualified candidates will have ARRT Mammography certification, an ARRT-accredited radiography program, and BLS within 30 days of hire.
Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Work may be performed in mobile health unit, clinic or hospital setting.
Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all Mammo competencies at the end of orientation period.
Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current Registry in Mammography ARRT(M). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date. ARRT(R), ARRT(M); BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
