Job summary

Baptist Germantown is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification to perform imaging procedures according to radiology practice standards, aiding diagnosis and treatment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include selecting proper positioning, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting per hospital policies, maintaining equipment, and participating in Performance Improvement activities to uphold care quality.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• Mammography ARRT(M) preferred; plan to obtain if not yet certified.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Experience

Minimum Required

6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all Mammo competencies at the end of orientation period.

Education

Minimum Required

Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT(R), with Registry in Mammography ARRT(M) preferred. Must complete certification for ARRT(M) within 12 months of hire date. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
