Job summary

Eastern Radiologists, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform acquisition, processing, and archiving of mammography images. You will care for patients in the mammography department under indirect supervision, ensuring safety and accuracy.

The role requires ARRT Mammography, BLS/CPR, and ongoing education; no post-graduate experience is required, and you will work with radiology students alongside supervising radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Under indirect supervision performs all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of mammography images. Responsible for the care of the patient while in the mammography department.

Major Job Functions:

• Communicate with patients in a respectful, appropriate and courteous manner.

Specifics:

• Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: No post graduate experience required.
• Certification/License/Registration: ARRT registered in Mammography required. BLS/CPR certification required. Maintains Continuing Education Credits.
