Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Part-Time Technologists Assistant II to join our radiology team. The role supports technologists with patient intake, procedure prep, and post-procedure tasks on Saturdays and Sundays (8:00am-4:30pm).

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, assisting with room setup, and maintaining clean imaging spaces. Prior experience as a Technologists Assistant I is required, with a preference for a high school diploma and enrollment in a Radiologic

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in patient setup and room preparation.
• Monitor schedules for modalities and imaging procedures; assist with preparation between patients.
• Clean and organize work areas, prep rooms, and imaging spaces.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the radiology team.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Technologists Assistant IIto join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Technologists Assistant II, you willbe responsible for providing patients clinical care ranging from medical intake, history, administering procedures, stress tests, along others with within scope of practice in assisting the Technologists.

This is a Part-Time position working Saturday's and Sunday's, 8:00am-4:30pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Technologist Assistance

1. Monitors schedules for all modalities, arthrograms, and image scans, adjusting as necessary and keeping technologists informed of changes.
2. Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure
3. Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and number
4. Assists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away and changing table sheet.

1. Prepares the next patient for scanning before the current patient completes their procedure to optimize scheduling.
2. Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients

(20%) Cleaning & Organization

1. Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)
2. Ensures that all patient imaging areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
3. Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom
4. Stocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the night
5. Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms
6. Organizes radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the day
7. Checks with technologists of all modalities, Medical Records and/or Front Office team members to assist with any additional duties as needed

(5%) Other Duties as Assigned

1. Projects, tasks, etc.

Required:

1. Must be 16 years of age
2. One (1) year experience as a Technologists Assistant (I)

Preferred:

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program
