What To Expect As An Automotive Technician:

You will provide automotive services including engine analysis, fuel injection, steering/suspension, exhaust, and computer-controlled systems, along with other key repairs.

The role requires understanding of under-hood mechanics and undercarriage assemblies, with opportunities for advancement based on ability and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and tools for experienced technicians
• OEM/ASE certifications are required for advanced levels
• Entry-level techs need a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, and reliable transportation

Various technician levels are available, with salary ranges from $36,400 to $150,000, depending on certification and experience, along with potential signing bonuses up to $25,000.
