At TCS Communications, LLC, as a Warehouse Technician, you’ll provide materials used in installing, repairing, and/or maintaining underground utilities and will be responsible for receiving, delivering, tracking, maintaining, issuing, and stocking materials.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Technician

  • Receive, inspect, store, and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.
  • Set-up a stock issue and control system that will account for and track all materials used in our construction process.
  • Maintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a “shelf stock” of parts, tools, and any other job-required supplies.
  • Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received, and issued from the warehouse and yard.
  • Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with our customer’s usage and tracking systems.
  • Assist in the management, maintenance, and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project.
  • Operate vehicle following all safety and traffic regulations including daily maintenance of vehicle.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • Holds and maintains a valid driver's license, Class A CDL preferred
  • A good driving record is required
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Additional qualifications (if applicable)

  • Ability to cycle count materials accurately for inventory
  • Proven decision-making skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, highly visible/risk intensive environment
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and/or environments is necessary

  • Routinely: physical ability (stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, push, pull, lifting, repetitive motion, lift & carry).

Salary Range: $16.00 to $18.00
