The Technician Trainer will lead and oversee advanced on-the-job training (OJT) and classroom training programs specifically tailored to Technician. This role involves developing, maintaining, and updating comprehensive training plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, industry standards, and technical requirements. The Trainer will evaluate training effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and provide recommendations to enhance workforce capabilities.
This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related production environment, with a focus on electronics technician-level tasks and training
Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, raw materials, quality control standards (e.g., AS9100), and industry best practices Familiarity with IPC standards and other relevant certifications Knowledge of electronic components, circuitry, and testing equipment
Skills/Abilities: Proficient in soldering, rework, and repair techniques, including SMT and through-hole components Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing instructions Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide clear instructions and constructive feedback Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple training programs simultaneously Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools
Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced technical certifications (e.g., IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC 7711/7721, or equivalent) required

Salary range: $58.74 - $70.10. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
