Job summary

  • Comfortable using or learning LMS and digital tools for training documentation.
  • Effective organizational skills to manage training schedules, materials, records, and documentation.
  • A self-starter who is energetic, driven, and always looking for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 40-50% of the time supporting multiple sites.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person, on-the-job, and classroom-style training for new hires and technicians across multiple product lines at different Anduril sites.
  • Support the development and maintenance of training content (including job aides), focusing on essential technical skills, equipment operation, safety procedures.
  • Conduct and facilitate hands-on, practical training sessions directly on the production floor, guiding technicians through real-life scenarios.
  • Enforce the development and standardization of skills matrices and on-the-job training documentation.
  • Create and continuously improve training materials, including instructional design guides, standard operating procedures, and other resources tailored to manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, production leadership, and stakeholders within manufacturing at each supported site to inform learning objectives and content requirements.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers as needed for specialized training or equipment.
  • Support the development of standardized record-keeping processes, attendance records, competency assessments, and progress reports to track training effectiveness and compliance.
  • Support learning administration, including scheduling, logistics, setup, and evaluation.
  • Partner with instructional designers and LMS professionals to ensure content is up to date and relevant.
  • Instill a strong culture of safety first and adherence to protocols in all training activities.
  • Responsible for assigned training areas and act as SME to support those areas.
  • Travel 40-50% of the time to support multiple manufacturing sites.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Manufacturing Production team is responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the manufacturing process including operating equipment, assembling products, performing quality control checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Manufacturing Training and Development team plays a critical role in equipping employees with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to excel in their roles. They design, develop, and deliver training programs that enhance technical proficiency, ensure compliance, and support career growth within the organization. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing training function while enhancing our employees' training experiences.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Technicial Training, Manufacturing to join the team to develop and deliver training programs for our Manufacturing teams supporting our cutting-edge production lines. This is a multi-site role supporting product lines across multiple Anduril sites, rather than a single product line or location. This role is essential to building a skilled workforce that adheres to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background as a technician or technician trainer in a manufacturing environment, is skilled at translating technical processes into accessible and effective training, and is a self-starter who thrives on travel and building consistency across multiple locations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Deliver in-person, on-the-job, and classroom-style training for new hires and technicians across multiple product lines at different Anduril sites
  • Support the development and maintenance of training content (including job aides), focusing on essential technical skills, equipment operation, quality practices/processes, and safety procedures
  • Conduct and facilitate hands-on, practical training sessions directly on the production floor, guiding technicians through real-life scenarios and troubleshooting exercises to reinforce skills
  • Enforce the development and standardization of skills matrices and on-the-job training documentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A combination of mechanical and electro-mechanical background/experience
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles or train-the-trainer certifications
  • Training Certifications such as Certified IPC Trainer (to include J-STD-001 CIT, IPC-A-610/620 CIT, IPC-7711/7721 CIT)

US Salary Range

$67,000 - $88,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
