Job summary

Hydromax USA is seeking Technician Trainees in Topeka, Kansas, offering a paid 3-month training program to launch a career in water infrastructure maintenance. Trainees will gain hands-on experience while working in outdoor environments and may travel to job sites as needed.

Compensation starts at $23–$25 per hour with weekly pay, company-paid devices, uniforms, PPE, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401K match after six months.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification as required.
• Physically capable of field work, incl. lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Willing to travel as needed, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
• Proficient in using mobile devices and field data collection applications.
• Ability to operate and maneuver a 4x4 2500 series truck in off-road or challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 3-month training program.
• Assist in water infrastructure maintenance in field settings.
• Travel to job sites as needed, including weekends and some overnights.
• Learn data collection and reporting via mobile devices.
