Overview

Job Title: Technician Trainee- Crossbore

Location: Raleigh, NC

Compensation: $18 - $21/hr.

Position Summary:

Your role as a Technician Trainee- Crossbore is to assist with the operation of our CCTV Camera and equipment to help make our community a safer place. This role will report to the Field Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Detect cross bored wastewater lines and collect field data through utilizing ESRI GPS software during inspections.
  • Establish a safe work zone including positioning safety items such as traffic cones and signs.
  • Prepare the CCTV Robot and equipment under the direction of the Operator while cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Dispatch the tractor unit securely into the pipe utilizing a crane or hook.
  • Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
  • Must be able and willing to walk 2 to 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and various weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to work with sewer and wastewater utility lines.
  • Lift 50+ lbs. of equipment regularly throughout the day.
  • Proficient using current technology such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Pay:

$18 - $21/hr.
