Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble and sterilize instruments for the Surgical Services department and other areas. You will also assemble and distribute patient care equipment and support general SPD operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an SPD training program with 400 hours hands-on experience, and CRCST certification within two years of hire; CIS/CER certifications are preferred.

MAJOR FUNCTION:To clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble and sterilize instruments for Surgical Services and other departments. To clean, assemble, inspect and distribute patient care equipment. To perform other duties to facilitate departmental operations.
