Job summary

JSX is seeking a Technician Services Controller to support aircraft reliability by providing expert technical assistance to Line Maintenance teams, including Contract and RON Maintenance. You will collaborate with Maintenance Control, Records, and Engineering to monitor aircraft history and proactively identify chronic issues, driving fleet performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 4–6 years of line maintenance/technical operations with a Part 121 or 135 operator.
  • Avionics and technical troubleshooting experience.
  • NCATT AET Certificate and FCC General Radiotelephone License preferred.
  • A&P Certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance actions with Maintenance Controllers and Planning.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repair planning for chronic items affecting on‑time performance.
  • Track significant mechanical interruption events (Air Turn Backs, Diversions, etc.).
  • Provide timely repair instructions for chronic and repeat discrepancies.
  • Identify tooling and test equipment improvements and support maintenance training.

You collaborate closely with Maintenance Control, Records, and Engineering to monitor aircraft history and proactively identify chronic issues. By analyzing daily pilot reports and maintenance data, you detect trends and recurring discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution and driving continuous improvement in fleet performance.**A Day in the Life:**Your role will focus on supporting safe, efficient, and compliant aircraft operations.
